For a certain generation, there is no greater animated series than X-Men: The Animated Series.

To celebrate it’s return after 2 decades to Disney+, where it became the highest watched Marvel show in history, Microsoft produced a line of limited edition X-Men themed controllers, and an X-Box Series X console with an exclusive X-Men 97 comic printed on it, which I had the pleasure of writing.

We produced 50 consoles and sent them to influencers and press outlets for a look, before hosting a sweepstakes on Twitter to deliver them into the hands of a few lucky fans.

We received coverage on major gaming sites Kotaku and IGN, as well as Men’s Journal, and a host of comics news sites.

By the contest’s deadline, the tweet received 3.4 Million views, and over 65K people entered to win one of the coveted consoles.
